Antigua Commercial Bank is seeking to engage as an independent contractor a qualified and experienced individual for the contract position of Recoveries Contractor to provide strong support to the Manager-Retail Lending & Recoveries in the collection and follow-up of Non-Performing Loans and Advances. This individual will act as the prime liaison between the customer and ACB.

The duties to be performed include the following for all assigned credit exposures:

  • Collecting and/or making recommendations for collateral sale, litigation, or restructuring as appropriate.
  • Ensuring that the necessary documentation and securities are in place.
  • Action incoming correspondence and formulating outgoing correspondence as necessary until all funds have been collected.
  • Following up on all customer matters in a timely and effective manner, to include interviewing customers, visiting them off-site, and inspecting and documenting the state of the Bank’s collateral.
  • Preparing reports on all Non-Performing and Non-Accrual Loans.

Qualifications required:

  • At least a Diploma in Business/Finance/Management or relevant field
  • Work experience of 2-3 years in Recoveries, Credit, or related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible banking experience
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft suite

  • Organised, thorough and accurate with strong planning and writing skills
