Antigua Commercial Bank is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Senior Security Administrator to provide strong support to the Manager Information Systems by enhancing, administering and configuring network design; overseeing camera surveillance monitoring; implementing the recommendations of internal and external auditors; ensuring and maintaining the Bank’s PCI DSS compliance status; and monitoring all underlying communications protocols of supporting network hardware in order to ensure that ACB’s network and communications systems function efficiently, effectively and securely at all times.

The duties to be performed include:

  • Maintains responsibility for the Group’s camera surveillance infrastructure including working with vendors to purchase and install cameras, and full administration and configuration of the Group’s network video recorders, video storage repository retention, archiving procedures and scheduling.
  • Responsible for implementing the recommendations of our internal and external auditors and makes recommendations to the Manager Information Systems on how to effectively manage - and where applicable minimize or mitigate - the Bank’s Cybersecurity Risk.
  • Prepares presentations, procedures, checklists and Board submissions as required to ensure the adequacy and awareness of I.T. security within the Group, and procures systems aimed at enhancing the Group’s IT security.
  • Protects the Bank’s interest by ensuring the security of the Group’s computerised systems to guard against loss/potential loss to ACB.

To perform the job successfully the individual must have:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent – Novell Certified Network Engineer (CNE or ECNE) and MCSC certification
  • At least 5 years’ experience with LAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems (NT, LAN Server), topologies (Token Ring, Ethernet) and protocols (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, Netbios/Netbeui), and Wide Area Networking
  • Sound knowledge and experience with PC hardware and software technology as well as file interchange, shared network resources, internet access, and electronic mail
  • Supervisory experience of a minimum of 5 years
  • Experience in a banking/financial services environment will be an asset
